step 246: don’t shackle yourself with your speech.  this article by Tara Mohr on Huff Post is an excellent guide of 8 ways to stop undermining ourselves with our words (click here for the article). these are subtle immobilities we have been taught growing up as girls (even guys). they can be broken. your ideas ARE amazing& impactful. for the past week I’ve been implementing rule #1 (Drop the “just:” ”I’m just wondering …” “I just think …” “I just want to add …” “Just” demeans what you have to say. “Just” shrinks your power. It’s time to say goodbye to the justs) noticed a dramatically new sense of power when i speak. no doubt.
